The Freegard Singers
|
|
The Freegard Singers were formed in 1977 by the late Harold Freegard. We are now a chamber choir with between 20 and 25 members who enjoy singing a wide range of music - "From before Bach to beyond Bernstein"
We perform some 4 concerts a year across Kent, often with instrumental and vocal soloists and we are also happy to provide music for weddings and other occasions.
We rehearse on Thursday evenings (7.45pm - 9.45pm) during school terms at Bapchild School, near Sittingbourne in Kent.
We are currently seeking a conductor.
The singers currently have vacancies, so if you are interested in joining us or would like to arrange a concert please contact the secretary, George Battersby on 01795 - 422845 or e-mail gabatty@blueyonder.co.uk
